The philosophy behind Dovehouse Fine Antiques Fairs is to provide a professionally organised event within a wonderful venue that is modestly priced to respected exhibitors who, in turn offer good quality antiques to the discerning customer. Standards are maintained by assessing the quality of antiques the exhibitors provide, which additionally allows for a huge variety of items exhibited at each event.

The historic market town of Dorking with its 16th century listed buildings, its reputation as a destination for the Dorking Halls monthly Antiques fair and West Street quality antique shops, is one of very few remaining centres of quality antiques in Surrey attracting buyers worldwide.

The fair is located in the ‘Grand Hall’ with its original 1930s interior, high ceilings, plenty of natural daylight providing space for 70 plus stands. In April 2018 the fair expanded into the adjacent Martineau Hall, providing an additional 35-40 stands.

Dorking Halls Antiques Fair is held each month from January to June & September to November inclusive. N.B. Please see ‘Times & Dates’.

The Dorking Halls are within easy reach of Gatwick, M25 and 40 minutes from London. Regular Rail services run direct from London Waterloo & Victoria to Dorking stations which are 10 minutes walking distance from the venue.

Parking is free (on Sundays) and situated directly behind the venue providing easy access for our stallholders. There is additional free parking (on Sundays) available opposite the main entrance. In order to direct exhibitors and public to the fair we provide clear signage situated at various appropriate locations leading to Dorking Halls.

Refreshments, hot drinks, sandwiches/cakes are available throughout the day.

The fair is regularly advertised in relevant trade publications and online, including our own Facebook page (Dovehouse Facebook Page), Antique Atlas (, Antiques Trade Gazette, Antiques Info, Collectors Trader and The Trade Calendar; Local & national Newspapers/magazines including Homes & Antiques, Surrey Advertiser and a monthly online newsletter covering the upcoming fairs and stallholders exhibiting at each event (please see ‘Press’ for examples of press coverage / articles).
